So this 21st parcel of $1,000 has come purely from taking on extra work, which I have been doing in my spare time. And I am running out of time and ideas, so the pressure is on. Sacrificing my weekend time to achieve my goal has come with pain but with each step that I feel closer to the succession of my goal, has helped feel like it has been worth it.
I purchased some more CBA stock to build up my existing holdings, which means that my estimated passive income is now $1,101 p.a. as my Morningstar research estimates a dividend yield of 5.3% p.a.
My next $1,000 is probably going to come from a wide variety of ideas and activities as I need a bit of down time from all this weekend work…lots of packed lunches and a few nights in at home to save so money. Probably a good thing as it will force me to head to bed early and recharge my batteries!
