Time is of the essence, so I am respecting the saying, “look after the pennies, and the pounds will look after themselves”. So essentially every dollar has counted. This is a list of things that I did to save my 25th $1,000.
- Held off on buying more make up, (I made my own tinted moisturiser)
- Took my lunch to work
- Did more Market Research
- Gave myself a home facial instead of going to my beautician
- Had date night at home with Rocco
- Cleaned my carpet myself – I borrowed a professional carpet cleaner instead of hiring a professional carpet cleaning service
I just purchased more TCL stock, (Transurban) which has an expected dividend yield now of 5.1% p.a. Which takes my expected passive income from $1,268 p.a. to $1,319 p.a. which is 65.95% of the way to achieving my goal.
