This 28th parcel of $1,000 came from a variety of areas….selling things on Gumtree, High End, and eBay. I also did some more Market Research and chose to spend a few weekends at home relaxing instead of going out and having an expensive nights with friends.
Being winter in Sydney at the moment, it was actually really nice to stay home and hibernate. My batteries felt recharged and I had more energy during the week. I also did some errands around the house that I would normally outsource.
With this parcel of cash, I decided that I wanted to make the most of the buying opportunity presented in the banking stocks from the market volatility from our Federal Election and Brexit. I purchased more Macquarie Bank stock, taking my passive income from $1,434 p.a. to $1,490, with an estimated dividend yield of 5.6% p.a. So I am now 74.5% of the way to achieving my goal!
