This week, or rather the last 10 days have been stressful, exhausting and simply crap. I won’t bother you with the details but to give you a quick idea of just a few things that happened, all my computers were hacked with ransom threats, my credit cards were skimmed, I had a medical complication and Sofia was also very unwell and couldn’t get out of bed. And that is just a couple of things that happened.
Anyway, today is Sunday and a fresh start begins tomorrow with a new perspective, more mental strength after the weekend break and another trip back to my IT specialist and doctor booked in.
However one positive insight or realisation happened to me this week though, I was at my local supermarket with Tom and Rocco, (both males walking in different directions, completely distracted and giving zero inspiration or contribution as to what we should have for dinner), when finally as we were leaving the supermarket, groceries in tow, Tom decided as much to Rocco’s delight, lets skip making dinner and go and get dumplings instead.
Normally I am quite strict with week night meals out, especially as I had just bought the food for dinner (and came up with the meal suggestion), but I felt flat, unmotivated and in need of a night off. So I agreed. The dumplings were delicious and the three of us got to sit together, chatting, laughing and bonding and feeling very pleased knowing that I didn’t have to cook or clean afterwards. The bill came and I quickly fixed it up, but it made me realise how grateful I am to have my Life Account.
For those moments in life where you need a break, a financial hero (my Life Account), to help give me that respite. To help create the opportunity where I can simply slow down, get perspective again and treasure those special simple moments with my two favourite males. The two people who mean so much to me and are my priority.
And it was done debt free, paid in cash and has no damage to my budget or my cash flow for the rest of the month. And best of all, I enjoyed dinner out guilt free. Leaving the restaurant I felt grateful for my Life Account, I felt proud of my realistic cash flow ritual, and I felt so much more relaxed again.
So if you haven’t already watched my video on how to manage your cash flow, I suggest watching either of these videos now, so that you can create your own financial hero and understand how to simply manage your cash flow. Otherwise, if you are looking for some financially friendly fashion inspiration, you definitely need find out this little secret from me in this video. which was only published a few days ago.
Of course as always, please feel free to share any of my free videos and content with your family and friends. Have a great week everyone!
