Weekend work….yes…sacrificing my time off to earn extra money…normally I would dread having to work on a weekend, but knowing that it is definitely worth while as it is getting me closer to my goals and creating the addictive sense of progress, which not only brings emotions of pride, joy and satisfaction, progress usually breeds more progress….and that is something that I am appreciating more than ever as my deadline looms. The pressure is on.
I actually worked over the weekends a few months ago, but have only just been paid…doing this work actually had a double blessing as it forced me to stay home and not waste money going out to expensive restaurants, wine or even the temptation zone of heading to my local shopping centre. So I actually saved money as well as earned money.
With the $2,000 in total, I decided to buy more STW, which is a diversified ETF of the top 200 ASX stocks. The estimated yield is around 5%, so my estimated passive income is now $2,651 p.a. so I am 66.275% of the way in achieving my goal…time is ticking so I had better get back to it…
