Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

As we are slowly mentally and physically transitioning and prepping ourselves for the foreboding winter months to come, dread is slowly filling me as we realise that not only will we be subject to the harsh, dry cold, our skin will also suffer. As mentioned in the previous post, finding a soothing and sufficient moisturiser is imperative to combat the dreary months to come. However, we also need to take care of our face. Due to the oil – producing glands, our face may become more or less dry than the rest of our bodies during the colder months. Therefore, we have to find a suitable and separate moisturiser for those who have dry, oily or combination skin.

The dangers of the dry climate on our faces, can either make your skin oilier or drier, depending on what your skin type is. A great product for this purpose for either hydrating severely dehydrated skin or oily skin, is the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst relief. This is a very lightweight, gel – like consistency lotion and upon application, instantly absorbed right into the skin – it is almost as though the skin simply drink the lotion in (as the name so aptly describes).

Once the product has been applied, it becomes a very matte finish, which is perfect for those who use moisturiser before applying foundation and make up straight after. As the gel – lotion also comes in several sizes, it is also wonderful for those ladies who like to carry a bit of their moisturiser in their purses.

As someone with oily skin, it is so difficult to find products that are able to do the job and moisturise without causing the face to turn greasy in a couple of hours. After finding this product, it  can be said that this product has certainly cleared up some of that frustration! For those people suffering from dehydrated skin, to those prone to oily skin, the Clinique Moisture Surge Thirst Relief is a must try, especially with the upcoming winter months. It is just so important to remain hydrated in all aspects, not just in winter but especially during winter.
